About The Intensive…
If you’re here that probably means there’s a chance that you’ve been struggling with your manuscript. Maybe you’re fighting to bring the vision you had for the story onto the page, or what to do next, or maybe you just feel like something is off.
If you’re feeling lost and overwhelmed with where to begin, or if you’re even making the right changes, don’t worry. You’re normal. If finishing the draft and being able to query or independently publish is the goal, then joining The Intensive: Mentorship Program might be something to look into.
I believe all of us know how to tell the story that lives inside of us. You know what this story could and should be. Your vision must be the one that ends up on the page.
All I want to do is help you write the book you’re proud of.
With years of experience as a published author and helping others shape their story, I have refined the skill of finding what can take a manuscript from good to great and helping more writers make it to publication is something I’m deeply passionate about.
I’ve had conversations with so many writers who know what they want, but are struggling in isolation, self doubt, and wondering if this is even a realistic dream. I get it, I’ve been there. I was that person.
This program was born out of my desire to help people get “there”.
The Intensive is a group program aimed to help you move forward with expert guidance and resources. You will spend 6 months writing your way to a manuscript that you’re proud of, while being in community with others that are all working towards that same goal, and being accountable to someone who is READING YOUR WORK.
Why 6 months Kristin? Great question. I believe that this amount of time is going to allow us to do the deep work in a way that will grow your skills, confidence, and connection. I know this is a commitment, but I want to give everyone the time and energy their art deserves.
It starts with a one on one call to determine where you are, what you need, and a plan for the next 6 months.
After that the schedule looks like this:
Bi-weekly zoom calls for brainstorming, accountability, and to discuss your next steps.
bi-weekly submission of your work for review!
Upon manuscript completion, I will read it again and provide an edit letter!
craft advice, instructional videos, and resources.
Bi-weekly zoom calls with experts such as agents, editors, and publicists. Pitch experts to teach us how to talk about our books effectively (and lordy HOW TO USE COMP TITLES PROPERLY). Also meditation specialists, tarot for creativity experts, and physical therapists who teach us how to take care of our bodies.
Zoom writing sprints!
Personalized assistance in polishing your query until it’s GREAT.

BRAINSTORM THE BEST WAY FOR YOU TO GET WORDS ON THE PAGE. THAT COULD BE INTENSE OUTLINES, OR CHARACTER PAGES, OR JUST HAVING A COMMITMENT TO SEND ME PAGES THAT HAVE PURPOSE.
SET UP A COMMITMENT FOR BI-WEEKLY UPLOADS TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE STICKING TO YOUR INTENTION IN YOUR WORK.
BI-WEEKLY DISCUSSIONS ABOUT SAID PAGES.
WHEN YOU FINISH DURING THE MENTORSHIP (WHICH IS THE GOAL) KRISTIN WILL READ THE ENTIRE BOOK FOR PACING/ARCS AND PROVIDE YOU WITH AN EDIT LETTER FOR TO POLISH IT UP.
THE DETERMINED
YOU HAVE A DRAFT MAYBE IT’S 30,000 WORDS, MAYBE ITS 100,000 WORDS. BUT YOU NEED SOMEONE TO COME IN AND HELP YOU TAKE YOUR STORY TO THE NEXT LEVEL! WE COULD:
READ THE ENTIRE MANUSCRIPT AND PROVIDE AN EDIT LETTER FOR THE PAGES, OR A CALL FOR THE BIG PICTURE CHANGES.
READING REVISED PAGES AS THEY ARE COMPLETED ON A BI-WEEKLY BASIS
DISCUSS ALL CHANGES AND IDEAS GOING FORWARD.
READ AN ADDITIONAL TIME TO MAKE SURE THAT THE BOOK IS SOMETHING YOU’RE PROUD OF.

COST OF THE MENTORSHIP IS $4500.00 and can be paid monthly after the non-refundable deposit.
