Into The Story is a retreat experience focused on putting the words on the page.

Mornings start with meditation or free writing to get our brains working. The rest of the day is filled with writing sprints, breaks to move your body, meals, and an expert (Kristin) to help you if you get stuck! Our evenings will be filled with group time to talk about our day, our goals, and maybe even a new season of Heated Rivalry.

Meals are all included!

Breaking The Story is an intimate retreat experience focused on developing and strengthening your story’s world, characters, and structure.

Each participant will have a dedicated story breaking time and group work, led by Kristin. In addition to writer focused meditation and one on one sessions with an expert.

Previous attendees have come away from this time with drafting and revision plans, solutions to plot problems, solved character motivations, and fully developed outlines.

Do you ever feel like sitting down and writing is difficult? Do you find yourself getting stuck on something inconsequential that halts your progress? Do you wish you had a time where you didn’t have to think about what to eat or what to do next? Come unplug and get focused with me!

INTO THE STORY is a six night writing intensive with structured work times. Goals are set on night one to hold yourself accountable. During the day we WRITE! Evenings are filled with craft talk and brainstorming. If you’re stuck, you can brainstorm with faculty so that the entire weekend is the most productive for you!
